The 27th International Conference-School “Advanced Materials and Technologies 2025” took place on August 25–29 in Palanga, Lithuania, bringing together researchers, doctoral students, and young scientists from across Europe.

We are pleased to announce that the Book of Abstracts is now publicly available and can be accessed here: https://ebooks.ktu.edu/product/659053.

This year’s conference featured 30 lectures delivered by experts in various fields of materials science, physics, and chemistry. The topics covered a wide range of cutting-edge research areas, including: synthesis and application of nanoparticles; 3D – printing; surface enhanced Raman scattering; paramagnetic resonance; broad band frequency measurements; atomic force microscopy; epitaxy; amphiphobic materials; light-emitting diodes; quantum processor unit; magnetoelectric nanostructures; water electrolysis; energy conversion and storage; sustainable innovation.

The conference is organized primarily by the Institute of Materials Science at Kaunas University of Technology, in collaboration with the Lithuanian Materials Research Society, Vilnius University, Center for Physical Sciences and Technology, University of Latvia, Riga Technical University, University of Tartu, University of Southern Denmark, and the Institute of Applied Research for Advanced Technologies.

This event serves as an excellent platform for developing both general and specialized competencies of doctoral students and early-career researchers, while fostering productive international collaboration.
