This conference was distinguished by an abundance of competent lecturers and relevant lectures – 21 lectures were given by specialists in the fields of physics and chemistry, materials science, and the topics of the presentations were very diverse, reflecting achievements in the field, including topics on smart materials; nanoparticles; hybrid nanomaterials, chromatography, quantum optics; photonics; radiation detector; sensors; organic electronics, immunosensors and biological compatibility, medical applications.
The Materials Science Institute of Kaunas University of Technology is the main organizer of this conference, as well as other institutions contribute: the Lithuanian Materials Researcher Society, Vilnius University, the Center for Physical and Technological Sciences, the University of Latvia, Riga Technical University, Tartu University, the University of Southern Denmark and the Institute of Applied Research of Perspective Technologies.
This event is an excellent school that helps to develop the general and special skills of doctoral students and young scientists, to develop productive international cooperation.
