Prof. S.Tamulevičius was invited to give a keynote presentation „Technologies for 2-D nanostructures“ at the IWAMO 2019 – International Workshop on Advanced Magnetic Oxides that took place from 15-17 April, 2019 in the city of Aveiro, Portugal.
The workshop was hosted by the University of Aveiro, in a joint organisation with the Physics Department of the University of Aveiro and the Associate Laboratory i3N/FSCOSD ‐ Institute of Nanostructures, Nanomodelling and Nanofabrication (Aveiro unit).
The workshop has addressed hot topics including Theory and modelling; Single crystals, thin films, nanoparticles, 2D systems – growth and structure, doping; Perovskites and double perovskites, diluted magnetic oxides, other functional materials; Composites, heterostructures and interfaces;, Novel characterization techniques and equipment;, Magnetic resonance, including imaging;, Nanofluids, biomedical applications; Devices;, New trends and applications in magnetocalorics, photocatalysis, magnonics, mutiferroics.
A mid-term meeting with all Partners of the Horizon 2020 project SPINMULTIFILM – Physical principles of the creation of novel SPINtronic materials on the base of MULTIlayered metal-oxide FILMs for magnetic sensors and MRAM. took place during the event in order to analyse the progress achieved to the date, exchange experience and plan further activities.
