MMI Researchers Receive “KTU Leopardai 2025” Awards

On 13 November 2025, the KTU Project Management Day 2025 took place at the Kaunas University of Technology Santaka Valley, bringing together the University community to celebrate the achievements of project-based activities.

The event was organised by the KTU Project Development Centre together with the Research and Innovation Projects Centre. During the celebration, the traditional “KTU Leopard” badges and special nominations were awarded to project managers, project implementation teams, and University units that excelled in project activities in 2024–2025.

Prof. Tomas Tamulevičius, Chief Researcher at the Materials Science Institute, received the award in the category “For Fostering Young Researchers”, while Chief Researcher Dr. Simas Račkauskas was honoured with the “Mentorship of the Year” award for supervising the postdoctoral fellowship “Development of Multifunctional Nanofibrous Composite Membranes for Air Filtration”. Additionally, researcher Dr. Erika Rajackaitė was congratulated on joining the ranks of project managers at Kaunas University of Technology.
