We are pleased to welcome dr. Hasan Sarıgül to work as a new postdoctoral researcher under the supervision of Prof. Tomas Tamulevičius. He will be working on the project “Nano Triangle Arrays for Rapid Detection of Micro/Nano Plastic Traces (NanoTRAP)”, funded by the Research Council of Lithuania.
The detection of micro- and nanoplastics is a growing challenge in environmental science, and the NanoTRAP project aims to develop advanced nano-patterned surfaces to enhance detection sensitivity and efficiency. This research will contribute to improving monitoring techniques and deepening our understanding of plastic contamination.
