One month duration secondment by Dr. Alexander Petrov (Research and Practical Materials Research Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus) within the project “New Magnetic Sensors for Multilayer Metal Oxides for New Spintronic Materials”,H2020-MSCA-RISE-2017 took place at the Institute of Materials Science. During the visit the researcher has performed diverse analytical measurements of different thin magnetic films deposited by pulsed laser ablation, magnetron sputtering and sol – gel techniques employing advanced surface analysis techniques offered by the Institute. Finally the seminar for the research staff was organized to exchange the ideas, methods, technologies and further research tasks.
