KTU Institute of Materials Science PhD student Mindaugas Juodėnas successfully defended his PhD thesis called “Suspended and Arranged Ag Nanoparticles: Self-Assembly and Resonances in Nanophotonics” on 22nd of February, 2021. He additionally received praise from the European doctorate network Physics and Chemistry of Advanced Materials (PCAM). For his excellent work Mindaugas was awarded a “Doctor Europeaus in Materials Science” certificate. Experts from 15 universities were convinced that Mindaugas’s work should be acknowledged not only in KTU, but in Europe as well. This achievement will open wider opportunities for Mindaugas both in Lithuania and abroad.
